Henry is the Vice President of Advantech's Channel Marketing for Asia and Emerging Territories , which include Japan , Korea , Singapore , Australia , Malaysia , India , Russia , the Middle East, South America and Africa .
Henry graduated with a master in Horticulture from the National Taiwan University in 1991. He concentrated his studies on climate control and greenhouse automation. After graduation, he joined MiTAC and was responsible for sales and marketing activities. Later in 1995, he took two years off to join the International Trade Institution, which is a training center for professionals established by Taiwan External Trade Development Council. He concentrated his studies on Japanese and MBA courses there.
Henry joined Advantech in 1995, and in the following year, he became the pioneer for the Japanese market and set up a branch office there. In 2003, Henry went on to be the leader of both Embedded Computing Group and Applied Computing Group. Three years later, with his profound managing experiences he was assigned the VP of Channel Marketing of Asian and other emerging markets. Thus far, his milestones include in-depth development of several major vertical markets and successful establishment of sales units in regions where Advantech has never reached before.
During his career with Advantech, Henry has experience d a variety of positions, fully utilizing all his talents. His determination for self actualization and pursue of new ideas entail him to be always a step ahead of the market. He always reminds his team members to seize the opportunity and finish tasks at the right time, and only then, can one make good use of all his/her potentials.
