Solution Introduction

Advantech Vehicle Mounted Computing Platforms provide industrial-grade computing solutions for heavy duty vehicles such as forklifts, trucks, trailers, tractors, and/or cranes. These product series are engineered to withstand vibrations and to resist water/dust penetration. They are also designed to use in harsh environments with optional anti-freeze and sunlight readable models. The integrated wireless module(s) allow instant data collection and real-time communication.

Anti-Vibration

The rugged and vibration-absorbing design is anti-vibration
and allows for safe and secure data storage in rotating drive applications

Aluminum Enclosure and Fanless Design

Aluminum enclosure is durable and great for heat dissipation. In addition, fanless design and low-power CPUs enable lower power consumption and extend charging cycle for battery.

IP65 Sealed for Water Resistance and Dust Proofing

The rugged enclosure has no ventilation holes and meets
IP65 standards; therefore, the front and back panels can withstand dust and water penetration.

Expandability for wireless data transition

WLAN (802.11b/g), GPS, GPRS, GSM, and CDMA optional modules can be installed by customers to process wireless data transition and real-time data transition, geographic positioning, and/or communications. Optional external antenna can be integrated to extend the communication coverage.

Embedded OS Support

Supports Window庐 CE, Window庐 XP Embedded, or Linux 庐 OS along with Window庐 98, 2000, and XP.

CAN Bus Interface (TREK-725 Only)

The isolated CAN Bus interface provides a 29 bit identifier (CAN 2.0B) and supports ISO 11898 at rates of up to 1 Mbps. Dedicated isolated 5V/200mA power supplies are provided.

User Programmable Function Keys (TREK-725 Only)

Six programmable function keys add flexibility for customized applications. Built-in software enables function keys to be easily programmed. Six more special purpose keys serve to increase and decrease the LCD backlight brightness, scroll the page up and down, and enter information.

Battery Module for Back up Power Source (TREK-725 Only)

This module enables the computer to function normally up to 1 hour when the main power fails. Use this module to enable proper system backup and shutdown during power outages.
