Advantech IIoT Net-SNMP Master Agent

Advantech IIoT Net-SNMP Master Agent is able to support SNMPv3 communication. To prevent abnormal SNMP communication, we strongly recommend installing both Windows SNMP service and Advantech SNMPSubagent.
The Master Agent is only necessary if you're using SNMPv3, but for SNMPv2 or earlier versions, it's not required.

SNMP SubAgent

The SNMP Subagent is based on the Windows SNMP service. You must install the Windows SNMP service on the supported operating systems. You can check the services snap-in under Administrative Tools in Windows Control Panel. If the SNMP service does not exist, you need to turn on the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) in Windows Features.

MIB Files include advantech-common-mib.mib and ADVANTECH-PLATFORMS-MIB.mib stands for Management Information Base and is a collection of information organized hierarchically.
You can access files at: Start menu | All Programs | Advantech | SNMP Subagent | MIB Files

SNMP Subagent User Guide introduces overview, installation and uninstallation.

To read RAID status, please copy the "rstcli64.exe" from the RST driver folder, and paste in "C:\Windows\System32” then restart SNMP service.

For SNMPv3 support, kindly install the Master Agent, as the SNMP service provided by the Windows SNMP feature does not support SNMPv3.
